Liuna 506-GCAT charity bocce tournament
TORONTO – Coming together for a good cause. As it does every year, the Nick Barbieri Charity Bocce Ball Tournament took place yesterday, organized by LIUNA Local 506 and the General Contractors’ Association of Toronto (GCAT). Now in its 33rd edition, the event brought together leaders, professionals, law firms and contractors, along with their families, at the LIUNA Local 506 Training Centre in Richmond Hill. Once again this year, the goal was to provide meaningful support to numerous local charitable organizations. As tradition dictates, yesterday’s event featured an exciting bocce tournament, followed by a lottery draw and a luncheon attended by all participants. Finally, the event organizers presented charitable donations to selected organizations.
