Interview with MP Anna Roberts after the election

TORONTO – Anna Roberts, conservative candidate for King-Vaughan, was interviewed  by Raquel Martins (Corriere Canadese) right after the election. Incumbent MP, Anna Roberts kept King–Vaughan as a Conservative riding in a landslide win on Monday: she won more than 40,000 votes, constituting c. 62 per cent of the votes.

Liberal candidate Mubarak Ahmed came second after garnering almost 24,000 votes (c. 36 per cent of ballots), NDP candidate Samantha Sanchez earned 1.1 per cent of the vote, while Green Party candidate Ann Raney captured 0.9 per cent, finishing ahead of People’s Party of Canada’s Vageesh Sabharwal, who received 0.6 per cent.
