TORONTO - Votes on three successive Motions designed to cast Trustee Del Grande in a dubious light accomplished the exact opposite. The Motions followed in-camera discussions on allegations of perceived infractions of the Trustees Code of Conduct, as assessed by the Interim Integrity Commissioner and others. The assessments followed politically motivated complaints torqued for maximum damage. In the end, notwithstanding the orchestration by Trustee Rizzo and her allies (De Domenico, Di Pasquale, Di Giorgio and Li Preti), all three motions failed. More detail in our paper copy on Monday. Rizzo and her “hitmen/woman” merely end up discrediting themselves and the Board.
